KUCHING, Oct 20: A total of 767 new Covid-19 cases were recorded in Sarawak today.
The State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) in its daily update on the Covid-19 situation in Sarawak said that in total, only two cases involved patients who had lung infections and needed respiratory assistance.
Another nine patients had lung infections and required ventilator assistance.
Only Kuching and Miri recorded three digit figures at 217 and 148 cases, respectively.
Districts that recorded double-digit caseloads are Sibu (95), Bintulu (49), Limbang (30), Lawas (29), Kanowit (27), Betong (17), Samarahan (14), Bau (13) Serian (11), Daro (11), Simunjan (11), Saratok (10) and Song (10).
Areas with single-digit cases are Kapit (9), Sarikei (8), Pusa (8), Sri Aman (7), Beluru (5), Kabong (5), Marudi (4), Mukah (3), Meradong (3), Lundu (3), Tanjung Manis (3), Asajaya (3), Bukit Mabong (3), Julau (2), Subis (2), Sebauh (2), Belaga (1), Dalat (1), Tebedu (1), Telang Usan (1) and Lubok Antu (1). — DayakDaily
