SRI AMAN, Nov 24: A 75-year-old man who was reported missing in a farm near Rh Ringgit Ibol, Sri Aman, has been found safe after a four-day search.
According to a report by the Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), the victim, identified as Niang Lasa, was located by a member of the public at Sg Antu, Batu Lintang, Sri Aman, around 10.30am, approximately eight kilometres outside the initial search zone.
“He was found unharmed and was immediately transported to the search and rescue (SAR) base camp for medical evaluation.
“The victim was then escorted to the hospital via an ambulance for further treatment,” the report said.
Niang was reported missing on Nov 21 after failing to return home from visiting his farm the previous day (Nov 20). — DayakDaily
