Upon arrival, the operation commander confirmed that the vehicle, submerged in fast-moving waters, had an elderly victim trapped inside.

The swift currents posed challenges for firefighters to inspect the vehicle thoroughly.

Firefighters broke the car window and used a rope to secure and retrieve the victim’s body, which was transported to the drain bank.

Unfortunately, the man showed no signs of life and was handed over to the police for further action.

A subsequent inspection of the vehicle confirmed that no other occupants were inside. The operation concluded at 7.50am. ā€” DayakDaily
