KUCHING, Nov 21: A 73-year-old man was pronounced dead after he was found unconscious on top of a cement tanker lorry at Paragon Batu Kawa early this morning.
According to the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), a distress call was received at 6.10am, prompting the deployment of firefighters from Batu Lintang station.

The victim sustained severe head injuries and was confirmed dead at the scene by medical officers from the Ministry of Health (KKM).
With the help of a forklift, firefighters safely brought the victim down from the top of the tanker lorry before handing over the body to the police for further action.
