73 Rh Alias Bon residents with close contact to Covid-19 cases transferred to Miri Hospital

SUBIS, April 15: A total of 73 residents from Rumah Alias Bon with close contact to Covid-19 cases were transferred to Miri Hospital yesterday (April 14).

The operation to transfer the residents, according to a new report by the Sarawak Public Communications Unit (Ukas), was led by the Ministry of Health (MOH) and assisted by Subis District Office, Miri District police, Civil Defence Force and Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba).

Meanwhile, the authorities have imposed a movement restriction order on Rumah Alias Bon in Sungai Manong Niah for 14 days which will last until April 21.

The State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) declared the Abak Bon Cluster on April 11 after 34 positive cases were discovered.

As of April 14, the community cluster has a cumulative case count of 39 with 32 people still being isolated and treated.

A total of 175 individuals have been screened as of yesterday whereby 136 tested negative. — DayakDaily
