KUCHING, May 24: Operating hours for all sectors in Sarawak during the tightened Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) are from 6am to 8pm effective tomorrow (May 25).

This was announced by the State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) in a statement in its daily Covid-19 update today.

“In view of the high number of Covid-19 cases of late, SDMC has decided to implement tighter CMCO standard operating procedure (SOP) from May 25 to June 7,” it said.

Meanwhile, the committee also announced that all face-to-face meetings related to official business or work are prohibited.

All sports activities for the purpose of training and organisation of competitions or tournaments are disallowed altogether.

“All sports and public recreational activities are also not allowed except for jogging and individual exercises,” SDMC added. — DayakDaily
