KUCHING, Nov 13: A 67-year-old man with neurological disease is among the 22 Covid-19 related deaths reported in Sarawak today.

The State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) in a statement today said, the man who was from Kuching passed away at Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) on Nov 9.

Of the total deaths, five were brought-in-dead (BID) including a 73-year-old and 80-year-old women from Betong who had no medical history of illness.

All 22 fatalities which occured between Nov 3 and 12 have pushed the State’s death toll to 1,510.

The other victims aged between 54 to 90 all suffered from high blood pressure and various other comorbidities.

In terms of districts, six deaths were from Betong, five from Sibu, four from Miri, three from Kuching and one each from Limbang, Serian, Bintulu and Samarahan. — DayakDaily
