KUCHING, Sept 6: A 60-year-old man was severely injured in a road accident along Jalan Tatau-Bintulu yesterday (Sept 5).
According to a report from the Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operations centre, they received a call regarding the accident at 3.50pm and dispatched firefighters from Bomba Tatau to the location.

The operations commander, upon arriving at the location, reported that the accident involved a collision between a lorry and a sedan vehicle.
As a result of the collision, the victim, who was pinned on the driver’s seat, was extracted by firefighters using rescue tools.
He was later handed over to medical personnel from the Ministry of Health (MOH) at the location for treatment. — DayakDaily
