KUCHING, Aug 23: Six individuals were unharmed after the sport utility vehicle (SUV) they were burst into flames at Jalan Miri-Pujut.
According to a report from the Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operations centre today, they received a call regarding the incident at 11.57pm on Aug 22 and deployed Bomba Miri Sentral to the location.
Based on the report, the vehicle burst into flames following a single-vehicle accident.
All victims managed to escape to safety without any injury, but the SUV was destroyed.
Firefighters managed to douse the flame using two water pumps from the fire engine.
They later cleared the road from the accident and ended the operation after ensuring that the situation was safe and under control. — DayakDaily
