6 Sarawakians among 27 deputy ministers in Anwar’s Cabinet

KUCHING, Dec 9: There are six Sarawakians among the 27 deputy ministers announced by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim tonight.

They are Dato Hanifah Hajar Taib, Datuk Wilson Ugah Kumbong, Datuk Rubiah Wang, Datuk Hasbi Habibollah, Dato Sri Huang Tiong Sii and Lukanisman Awang Sauni.


The Ministry of Finance, which Anwar himself is helming, is the only ministry with two deputy ministers.
