KUCHING, Aug 24: A temporary lane closure along Jalan Kampung Plaie in Kota Samarahan will take place for six months beginning Sept 1, 2025, until Feb 28, 2026, to facilitate upgrading works.
According to a notice issued by Sarawak Metro Sdn Bhd (Sarawak Metro), the road closure will be enforced daily for 24 hours throughout the duration of the project.
The public is advised to be cautious when driving in the affected area and to adhere to all traffic management control measures, including road warning signs and speed limits, to ensure the safety of both road users and construction workers.
“Sarawak Metro will duly notify the public if there are any changes to this notification. Road users are advised to plan their journey accordingly,” the company said.
