KUCHING, Feb 4: A total of 577 flood victims were evacuated to 13 temporary evacuation centers (PPS) throughout the state as of 6 pm today.
According to the Malaysian Civil Defense Force (APM) in a press statement, the highest number of evacuee were in Serian division where a total of six PPS has been opened,
The PPS are namely in Sk Tebekang Hall (31 individuals), Kampung Slabi Entukuh Community Hall (41), Buk Janjun Community Hall (11), SK Tanah Puteh (138), Kampung Lintang Baru Community Hall (41), and Serian Community Hall (80).
For Samaharan division, four PPS were open in Simunjan district, namely in Lubok Buntim Community Hall (27), Mesra Simunjan Hall (47), Kampung Entangor Community Hall in Sebuyau (67), and in Kampung Seruyuk Mosque in Sebuyau (67), including in the Samarahan Civic Center (23) and Kampung Bangka Semong Multipurpose Hall (eight).
Meanwhile, the number of evacuee remain the same in Tatau Sports Hall PPS with a total of eight individuals. – DayakDaily.
