BAU, Oct 15: An 18-year-old male was arrested for possession of 0.4 grammes of ‘syabu’.
Upon receiving a report from the public, a team from Bau District Criminal Investigation Division (BSJND Bau) raided a house in Kampung Skiat Baru.
The suspect, who is self-employed, was arrested during the raid. During a search, a transparent plastic packet filled with a crystal-like substance believed to be ‘syabu’ weighing about 0.4 grammes was found inside a green and black cigarette box in the suspect’s bedroom.
Meanwhile, in a separate incident, an unemployed 24-year-old male also from Bau was arrested for possession of ‘syabu’ on the same day.
He was arrested during a police raid of a house in Tasik Biru. The suspect was inside a bedroom in the house.
A search turned up a transparent plastic packet inside a green cigarette box, containing a crystal-like substance believe to be ‘syabu’ weighing about 0.32 grammes.
Both suspects tested positive for amphetamine and methamphetamine, and were detained under the Section 12(2) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952 and Section 15(1) of the same act. – DayakDaily.
