MIRI, Dec 11: A 51-year-old motorcyclist has died after colliding with a four-wheel drive (4WD) vehicle at the Miri Coastal Road near the Kampung Jengalas junction last night (Dec 10).
In a statement, Miri OCPD ACP Alexson Naga Chabu said the crash, involving an Isuzu D-Max driven by a 56-year-old man and a motorcycle, happened at about 10.40pm.
The 4WD’s driver was unharmed.

“Preliminary investigations showed that the 4WD was heading towards Batu Niah from Miri city and crashed into the motorcycle exiting from a junction,” he said.
The case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987. — DayakDaily
