BINTULU, Feb 18: A 50-year-old Indonesian lorry driver was killed when the three-tonne lorry he was driving crashed into a tree in front a factory in Kidurong today.
Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) Kidurong responded to the emergency at 4.30pm and swiftly deployed a team of firefighters to the scene.
Upon arrival, they confirmed it was a single-vehicle accident, with the driver trapped inside the driver’s seat.
Paramedics from the Health Department declared the driver dead at the scene.
Firefighters used rescue tools to extricate the victim’s body, which was then handed over to the police for further investigation. — DayakDaily
