SIBURAN, Oct 15: A 49-year-old woman was killed while a 30-year-old woman sustained serious injuries after their motorcycle collided with a car near Kampung Keromboi early this morning.
The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) Siburan received the emergency call at 6.40am and promptly dispatched a team to the scene.
Upon arrival, the Emergency Medical Rescue Services (EMRS) team administered first aid to the 30-year-old victim, who was later transported to Serian Hospital for further treatment.
The other victim, who suffered critical injuries, was found unconscious and was pronounced dead at the scene by medical officers. Her body was handed over to the police for further action.
The driver of the Proton Saga involved in the accident escaped unharmed. — DayakDaily
