KAPIT, Dec 31: A 42-year-old man was injured in a two-vehicle accident along Jalan Song-Kapit today.
Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) Sarawak said a team of firefighters from the Song Station responded to the emergency at 10.57am.
The incident involved a Perodua Axia with a sole driver and a Toyota Alphard carrying a family of five.
Upon the firefighters’ arrival, the injured driver of the Perodua car, though not trapped, remained inside the vehicle.
Firefighters retrieved the injured driver and transferred him to paramedics for further care.
All passengers in the Toyota vehicle were unharmed.
Firefighters also conducted flushing operations to clear the site of petrol spillage and debris. — DayakDaily
