KUCHING, Jan 26: A woman died while three others were injured in a single-vehicle accident that occurred in front of a hotel here earlier this morning.
According to a report from the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), a call on the accident was received at 3.23am and firefighters from the Padungan station were deployed to the location.
“Upon arrival, it was discovered that the accident involved a car with a female driver and three female passengers.
“Two victims were removed by the police and brought to hospital to treat their injuries while the other two were trapped in the vehicle.
“After extricating the victims, it was discovered one was injured while the other who was the front seat passenger was confirmed to have died by Health Ministry officials who were at the scene,” said the report.
The operation ended at 4.36am once the situation was secured. — DayakDaily
