KUCHING, Oct 23: Four brought-in-dead (BID) cases are among the 15 Covid-19 related deaths reported in the State between Oct 15 and 22.
According to Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) in a statement today, one BID case were reported involving a 37-year old man from Sibu without any medical background and the victim passed away on Oct 16 in Sibu Hospital.
The other three BID cases with comorbidities were reported involving a 64-year old man from Miri and his body was brought to Marudi Hospital on Oct 15, a 55-year old man from Samarahan with his body brought to Sarawak Heart Institute in Kota Samarahan on Oct 17, and a 57-year old man from Sibu whose body was brought to Sibu Hospital on Oct 20.
For the remaining cases, four of the Covid-19 related death cases were recorded in Sibu Hospital on Oct 17 involving two women age 95 and 38-year old, one case on Oct 18 involving a 68-year old man, and another case on Oct 19 involving a 87-year old woman.
On Oct 21, five death cases were recorded with three in Sarawak General Hospital (SGH), one in Kapit Hospital and one in Sarikei Hospital.
The committee said three of the victim from SGH involved a 68-year old woman, a 87-year old man, and a 86-year old man, and one case in Kapit Hospital involved a 75-year old man, while one in Sarikei Hospital involved a 89-year old woman.
On Oct 22, two death were reported with one case in SGH involving a 64-year old man from Betong, and one other in Miri Hospital, involving a 45-year old man from Miri. Both victim were with comorbidities. — DayakDaily.
