KUCHING, Sept 5: Thirty-six localities in Julau, Lubok Antu, Pakan, Sarikei, Serian, Kuching, Lundu, Selangau, Saratok, Kabong, Bintulu, Sebauh, Tatau, Sri Aman, Bintulu and Pakan have been placed under the Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO).
The State Disaster Management Committee in its daily Covid-19 update today, said in Julau, Rh Biyan in Kerangan Rian, Rh Geraik in Rayah Ili, Rh Sabang and Rh Kiroh in Rantau Limau Ulu Kanowit would be under EMCO from today until Sept 18, 2021.
Rh Sujang in Sedarat Salin, Lubok Antu and three localities in Pakan, namely Rh Umar in Sg Temiang, Rh Suntik in Ng Kakup Entaih, and Rh George in Nanga Nansang is also under EMCO during the same period.
As for Rh Naning in Sg Baji in Sarikei, Kampung Mentu Mawang in Serian, Kampung Mentu Pondok in Serian, Kampung Mentu Tapu in Serian, Kampung Tanjung Bako in Kuching, Kampung Selampit in Lundu, and Rh Minggu at Mile 28 Sekuau Scheme in Selangau, their EMCO will commence tomorrow (Sept 6) until Sept 19, 2021.
The committee also said a 15-day EMCO starting from Sept 6 until Sept 20, 2021, will be imposed in three localities comprising Rh Ampi in Bajau of Saratok, Rh Lembang in Engkudu Sebetan of Saratok, and Rh Salaka in Bratong Baroh Roban of Kabong.
Thirteen other localities will be under from yesterday (Sept 4) until Sept 17, 2021. The locations include Rh Andrew in Kampung Ng San Undop and Rh Along in Kampung Entebar Undop, both of Sri Aman.
Other locations comprise a rented room above Laundry 101 Shop in Tg Batu Commercial Center in Bintulu, a rented room above Kiong Huat Shop in Tg Batu of Bintulu, a rented room above Turbowolf Resources in Jalan Tg Batu of Bintulu, Lorong 3 in Jalan Alamanda 6 Jade Garden of Bintulu, Rh Awan Anak Ngindan in Batu 17 along Bintulu-Miri road of Bintulu, Rh Musa Anak Asit in Batu 17 along Bintulu-Miri road of Bintulu, Rh Garena Anak Pi in Batu 17 along Bintulu-Miri road of Bintulu, and Rh Nyaing Anak Unol in Kampung Sg Segan Ulu Sebauh of Bintulu.
For Rh Sumping in Wong Bebelit Ulu Entaih, Pakan, the EMCO is in effect 17 days since Sept 4, until Sept 20, 2021.
On the same note, SDMC announced the end of EMCO for nine localities in Kapit, Sri Aman, Belaga and Bintulu today (Sept 5, 2021).
The affected localities are Rh Umping Baleh in Kapit, Rh Julai in Kampung Entawa Wong Padong Undop of Sri Aman, Rh Majeng in Kampung Po Ai of Sri Aman, Rh Able in Kampung Gran Stumbin of Sri Aman, Uma Lesong in Sungai Asap of Belaga, a rented room above Jireh Corner in Bintulu Sentral of Bintulu, Bumirin Sdn Bhd’s workers quarter in Bintulu, Rh Roselind Anak Suang in Batu 7 along Bintulu-Miri road of Bintulu, and Rh Jerawa Anak Sumok in Sungai Plan of Bintulu. — DayakDaily
