MIRI, 17 Feb: A total of 307 swab test were collected during an active contact detection (ACD) carried out in Beluru for the period of Feb 12 to 14 recently, following Covid-19 positive cases reported within the district recently.
According to Miri Division, Disaster Management Committee Minister in charge Datuk Lee Kim Shin disclosed today ACD samples were collected from five localities namely Rumah Baran; Rumah Hilary Tawan; Rumah Ramba; Kampung Haji Mohd Yusuf Taha and a plantation in Bakong.
Meanwhile, four longhouses in Beluru are still under lockdown until Feb 21.
These longhouses are Rumah Pengabang; Rumah Mathew Tiri; Rumah Lawang; and Rumah Bayan.
Nine other longhouses with lockdown lifted are Rumah Emah; Rumah Apol; Rumah Anthony; Rumah Chabu; Rumah Justine; Rumah Nelson; Rumah Clarence; Rumah Sabang and Long Jaeh Longhouse (in Telang Usan).
“Three oil palm plantations in Subis district have also been released from lockdown on February 8, while one estate also within Subis is still under lockdown until Feb 22,” he disclosed. -DayakDaily
