“Out of the amount, 2,000 were handed over to the Bintulu District Education Office (PPD) to be distributed to students from 29 flood-affected schools in the district.

“The remaining 1,000 bags are for the Tatau-Sebauh PPD to be distributed to students from 22 schools.

“It is hoped that this contribution will lessen the parents and students’ burdens as well as help the students to focus on their studies,” said Kong in a post on his Facebook page. — DayakDaily
