“The hospital staff work round the clock to treat Covid-19 patients. A freshly prepared meal is a simple way to show our support and gratitude to our heroes. Thank you, doctors and nurses, and other medical professionals.

“Our frontliners are out there working to fight this war for us. So, it is only right that we stay at home to support them,” Ishak said.

Meanwhile, Bon Appetit Kuching is a charity mobile food truck that offers warm food to less fortunate individuals, children and old folks in Kuching with ingredients donated by Kuchingites.

Its founder Jacqualine Chang disclosed: “Bon Appetit has offered homecooked meals to our frontliners in SGH. During such difficult times, we should all contribute in any way we can to support our frontliners and without hesitation.” — DayakDaily
