3 new faces among 32 sworn in as political secretaries to CM

KUCHING, Nov 10: Three new faces were among 32 individuals sworn is as political secretaries to the Chief Minister on Friday.

The swearing-in was done before Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg and was led by reappointed Abu Seman Jahwie and Kenil Jaraie from Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB).


The three new faces are Suzanne Lee Tze Ha from United People’s Party (UPP), Dr Simon Sinang Bada from PBB and Robert Ayu from Progressive Democratic Party (PDP).

Others reappointed from PBB are Abdul Samad Gany, Jenny Bangga, Susan Chemerai Anding, Dayang Nurfizawati Abang Abdul Karim, Faridah Osman, Buang Bolhassan, Sharkawi Suhaili, Julani Mokhtar, Victor Temenggung Angang, Romeo Christopher Tegong, Maurice Joannes Giri, Petrus Igat Mathias, Dr Richard Rapu, Charles Balan Seling, Michael Mujah Lihan and Tapah Ata.

From Parti Rakyat Sarawak (PRS) are Datuk Seri Doris Sophia Brodie, Nicholas Kudi Jantai, Edwin Banta, Charles Chad Nissom and Beatrice Kedoh Tajang.

From Progressive Democratic Party (PDP) is Alexander Asing Sadai, and from Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) are Teng Ung Woo, Daniel Bujal, Tan Kai, Michael Tiang and Soo Li Ching.

Their appointments will be for a period of one year, from Oct 1, 2018, to Sept 30, 2019. — DayakDaily
