KUCHING, Dec 28: A 29-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a hit-and-run accident at Mile 8, Jalan Matang early this morning, with the driver fleeing the scene.
Padawan District Police chief Supt Mohd Irwan Hafiz Md Radzi confirmed the accident occurred at 3.15am.
“The incident involved a Yamaha motorcycle and a Toyota Camry. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver abandoned the vehicle and fled,” he said in a statement today.
Police are urging anyone with information about the accident to come forward and assist with the investigation.
