298 civil servants receive loyalty service awards from Premier

KUCHING, Dec 18: A total of 298 civil servants from 16 departments and agencies, including the Sarawak government (13) and the Federal government (3), have received the ‘Loyal Service’ medals from Sarawak Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg today.

Sibu Deputy Resident Christopher Ranggau Unting, who has been in service for 28 years, led the list of recipients, Sarawak Public Communication Unit (Ukas) reported.

The following recipient was Selangau District Officer Enting @ Inting Nyami, followed by Kanowit District Officer Jackline August @ August Jahar.


Also receiving loyal service medals this year were Sarikei Division Resident Michael Ronnie Langgong, Kapit Division Resident Galong Luang, and Rajang Port Authority (RPA) acting general manager Hayati Kiprawi.

In addition, the recipient with over 39 years of service is Ambrose Cheng Loi Hee, who also holds the position of press secretary to the Premier of Sarawak.

Cheng was followed by Wilbert Jampi Tinggang, Hendrew Uka Alo, Belaja Jagon, Lee Ling Sang, Wahap Abdul Hamid, Ajin Balong, Lim Lee Tan, Dunny Tanjong, Margaret Marcus Sungum, Eday Lalla William Dumbal, Gapar Mohamad @ Mohamed Ulai, Renang Naong, Limen Muyang, Rose Kasi, Irah Malang, Rebecca Sapok Jalong, and Genillun Moleng.
