KOTA SAMARAHAN, Oct 10: A 27-year-old woman sustained injuries after being trapped in her car following a collision involving a container truck and a dump truck near the Royal Malaysian Air Force (TUDM) base on the Kuching Outer Ring Road earlier today.
Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) Kota Samarahan responded to the emergency at 4.39pm and immediately deployed a team of firefighters to the scene.
Upon arrival, they found the woman trapped inside her Proton Saga.
Firefighters successfully extricated her, and she was given immediate first aid by the Emergency Medical Rescue Services (EMRS) Unit before being transported to the Sarawak Heart Centre for further treatment.
In addition, firefighters cleared debris from the road to ensure safety and concluded their operation at 5.50pm. — DayakDaily
