KUCHING, Feb 23: A 26-year-old man was killed on Jalan Kelupu at around 6am when he lost control of his motorcycle while travelling from Sibu to Bintangor and struck a roadside trash bin today.
According to a TVS news report, Meradong District Police Chief Deputy Superintendent Tansli Mering said the victim’s motorcycle skidded onto the left shoulder of the road before hitting a trash bin in the area.
“The victim’s body was later taken to the hospital for further procedures, and the case is being investigated under the relevant road traffic laws,” he said.
Inspections at the scene found that damage was concentrated at the front of the motorcycle, with only debris scattered at the site and no other vehicles involved. — DayakDaily
