KUCHING, May 5: A 26-year-old man was found unconscious at Ranchan recreation Park, Serian today.
According to a Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) report, they received a distress call regarding the incident at 5.33pm before deploying an emergency medical rescue services (EMRS) team from the Serian station to the location.
The man was rescued earlier by the public but he was found in an unconscious state. The EMRS team administered CPR to the victim until a medical team from the Health Ministry (MOH) arrived.
The victim was subsequently pronounced dead at the scene by MOH officers before the body was handed over to the police for further action.
The victim’s cause of death is still under investigation. — DayakDaily
