21st Pesta Benak in Sri Aman to be held from Nov 29–Dec 1

KUCHING, Oct 10: The 21st Pesta Benak (Tidal Bore Festival) in Sri Aman this year will be held from Nov 29 until Dec 1.

According to the festival’s main organising committee in a press statement today, the change of date was made due to unforeseen factors.

It said that the decision was made during a meeting today, jointly chaired by Deputy Minister of Education, Innovation and Talent Development Datuk Francis Harden Hollis and festival advisor Mahra Salleh, who is also Sri Aman Resident officer.

Initially, the festival was supposed to be held from Nov 15–17. — DayakDaily
