2027 SEA Games, sports devt discussed during sports minister’s courtesy call on Premier

KUCHING, Apr 28: Preparations for the 2027 SEA Games were among the matters discussed during a courtesy call by Youth and Sports Minister, Dr Mohammad Taufiq Johari, to Sarawak Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg.

According to the Sarawakku Facebook page, the courtesy call, which took place at the Satria Pertiwi Complex on Monday (Apr 27), also touched on the development of sports, particularly in Sarawak and Malaysia as a whole.

Also present during the courtesy call were Sarawak Minister for Youth, Sports, and Entrepreneur Development Dato Sri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah; Deputy Ministers Gerald Rentap Jabu and Ripin Lamat; as well as the ministry’s Permanent Secretary Dzulkornain Masron. — DayakDaily
