KUCHING, April 20: Two men managed to escape to safety after flames destroyed a house at Kampung Pasir in Miri.
According to a report from the Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operations centre today, they received a call about the incident at 2.33pm and dispatched firefighters from the Lutong station to the location.
The operations commander reported that in the incident, a house was destroyed and that the two victims, ages 20 and 30, were unscathed.
Firefighters then proceeded with the extinguishing operation and put out the flame at 2.51pm, followed by overhaul works to ensure no source of reignition. — DayakDaily
