MIRI, March 8: Two drivers suffered minor injuries when the four-wheel-drive (4WD) vehicle and Proton Iswara they were driving collided into each other near the Jalan Cahaya junction here this morning.
Both vehicles were not carrying passengers.
Before the 11.30am mishap, both vehicles were heading towards town from the Airport area.
State Traffic Investigation and Enforcement chief Supt Alexson Naga Chabu said preliminary probe indicated that the accident happened when the 4WD, driven by a 19-year-old, lost control of the vehicle, slammed into the car and both vehicles landed on the opposite lane.
The case is being investigated under Road Traffic Rules 10 LN 166/59. — DayakDaily
