MIRI, Dec 19: Some 177 contractors participated in the draw for 99 projects under Rural Transformations Projects (RTP) at the Civic Centre here yesterday.
The draw, according to the Public Works Department (JKR) Sarawak Corporate Communication in a statement on its Facebook page, was divided into two sessions.
“The first session involved 112 contractors registered in Miri while the second session involved 65 contractors registered under Subis, Marudi, Beluru and Telang Usan.
“A total of 45 of 99 projects offered in the draw consisted of projects under the supervision of JKR Miri division,” the statement said.
Acting Miri Resident Abdul Aziz Mohamad Yusuf as well as staff of JKR Miri, Miri Resident Office, Miri City Council, Subis District Council, Miri Drainage and Irrigation Department and Marudi District Council were present. — DayakDaily
