KUCHING, March 9: Kuching Taekwondo and Self-Defence Club (WTF) is sending a team of 150 players to Sarawak Sports Corporation’s State Taekwondo (SSC-WTF) Championship 2023 in Bintulu from March 10 to 12.
The team will be led by coaches Tan Cheng Qiang, Virtlam Umpau, and Eimran Ghaffarry Mohamad Daud, who will be assisted by several assistant coaches as well as a parent support team.
Tan said the club’s main aim was to give much-needed competition exposure to younger players.
“Our players are mostly junior. They are out to gain experience and it will be great if they can perform up to their level,” he said in a statement today. — DayakDaily
