MIRI, May 23: A 13-year-old boy accidentally impaled his right arm on the iron fence at his home in Jalan Riverine, Lutong here today.
Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) Sarawak responded to the emergency at 6.38pm and swiftly mobilised a team of firefighters from the Lutong Station to the scene.

Upon arrival, the firefighters quickly evaluated the severity of the injury and promptly used a circular saw to carefully remove the steel bar.
Following the rescue operation, the child’s parents swiftly transported him to Miri Hospital in their vehicle for immediate medical attention. — DayakDaily
