SIBU, May 2: An 11-year-old boy managed to crawl out of a Perodua Alza after it overturned in a single-vehicle crash early this morning near the Sibu flyover, while the 38-year-old woman driver was thrown onto the road.
The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) Sibu Jaya received the emergency call at 6.20am and immediately dispatched a team to the scene.
Upon arrival, firefighters confirmed that the accident involved only one vehicle.
The boy had already exited the vehicle on his own, sustaining minor injuries, while the driver was found injured by the roadside.
Paramedics provided on-site first aid to both victims.
The operation concluded around 8am after firefighters cleared debris and ensured the area was safe. — DayakDaily
