KUCHING, June 23: A total of 11 people were injured after a van lost control and veered onto the road shoulder along Jalan Balai Ringin–Serian early today.
In a report from the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), a call was received at 5.41am, and firefighters from the Serian station were deployed.
It was noted that one female victim sustained a fractured leg while another injured her waist area. The driver, who is a local man, and the remaining victims sustained only minor injuries.
In total, 11 people—six men and five women—were involved in the accident.
Two Health Ministry (MOH) ambulances and one Emergency Medical Rescue Services (EMRS) unit were deployed to transport the victims to the hospital for further treatment. — DayakDaily
