KUCHING, Feb 2: Eleven people were left homeless after their home at Jalan Jambori, Stakan, in Kota Sentosa, was destroyed by fire today.
The state Fire and Rescue operation centre said 11 firefighters from Batu Lintang and eight from Kota Samarahan fire stations were deployed upon receiving a distress call at 12.34pm.
“The house was completely razed when firefighters arrived at the scene,” the department said in a statement.

It was understood that the house was occupied by seven men and four women. No injuries were reported in the incident. — DayakDaily
