10 pol-secs to Premier of Sarawak sworn in today

KUCHING, April 14: Ten political secretaries to the Premier of Sarawak Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg took their oaths today.

According to a report from Sarawak Public Communications Unit (Ukas), the swearing-in ceremony was held at Wisma Bapa Malaysia and witnessed by Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas.

Five of those taking their oaths are from Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB), namely Maurice Joannes Giri, Sarkawi Suhaili, Dr Richard Rapu, Sayed Azmee Wan Junaidi and Awangku Jinal Abedin Dato Pengiran Jawa.

The others taking their oaths are Edwin Banta and Beatrice Kedoh Tajang from Parti Rakyat Sarawak (PRS), Daniel Bujal and Soo Li Ching from Sarawak United Peoples’ Party (SUPP), and Alexander Asing Sadai from People’s Democratic Party (PDP). — DayakDaily
