KUCHING, May 17: A bushfire razed a total of 10 acres of land at Kampung Baru, Kota Samarahan this afternoon.
The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) were alerted about the fire at 12.34pm and teams of firefighters were despatched to the scene immediately.
According to a report, Bomba managed to put out the fire by using water from a water tanker and from three water tanks.
The operation ended at 5.20pm with firefighters returning to their station after they had confirmed the fire had been completely extinguished and the scene was safe. — DayakDaily
