MIRI, Oct 16 : A digital microscope worth RM15,215 is donated to Miri Hospital by an anonymous benefactor to help their fight against Covid-19.
The simple handing over of the microscope was held this Saturday morning by Assistant Minister for Tourism, Arts and Culture cum Piasau Assemblyman Datuk Sebastian Ting to Miri Hospital Director Dr Jack Wong.
Ting, after the presentation, expressed his gratitude towards the anonymous benefactor for the contribution.
According to Dr Jack Wong, the hospital had requested to purchase the equipment in August this year, but had to postpone the purchase due to insufficient fund.
The anonymous benefactor had helped the hospital by purchasing the digital microscope for them. — DayakDaily.
