MIDT working visits to Port of London and Signalis

KUCHING: Infrastructure Development and Transportation (MIDT) Minister Tan Sri Dr James Jemut Masing is leading a delegation on a working visit to Port of London and Signalis of Paris from Sept 13 to 16.

With Masing, who is also Deputy Chief Minister, are government linked company Bouys and Lights’s Board of Directors including Opar Assemblyman Datuk Ranum Mina, Ngemah Assemblyman Alexander Vincent, Director of Budget Division of State Financial Secretary’s Office Datu Junaidi Reduan and MIDT permanent secretary Datu Safri Zainudin.

“The purpose of the trip is to learn how London Port Authority (LPA) operates and what equipment to be best suited to be used in ports of Sarawak to ensure proper control of shipping traffic.

“The delegation found the visits most useful in enhancing our knowledge in managing our ports using the latest technology and equipment,” Masing told Dayakdaily today.
