MUKAH, Oct 11: A roti canai seller has been arrested for allegedly to be in possession of drugs believed to be Methamphetamine yesterday .

Mukah District Police Chief Deputy Superintendent Muhamad Rizal Alias ​​said the suspect, a 40-year old woman, was arrested at about 5.45pm at Jalan Selangau – Bintulu as a result of intelligence from the Narcotics Crime Investigation Division of the Mukah District Police Headquarters (IPD).

“During an inspection of the suspect’s vehicle, the police seized a black bag which contained a large transparent plastic bag with Methamphetamine type crystals.


“Also found, was a medium-large transparent plastic packet containing five small transparent plastic packets with crystal like objects inside, also believed to be Methamphetamine type of drugs,” he said in a statement today.

Muhamad Rizal said the initial investigation found that the suspect had been involved in drug addiction since 2010.

An urine test of the suspect came back positive for Amphetamine-type drugs.

He said the suspect and the confiscated items were taken to the Mukah Police Station for investigation under Section 39B of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952. — DayakDaily.
