CM visits Finnish Ministry of Transport and Communication

HELSINKI, Finland: Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg led a state delegation on a visit to the Finnish Ministry of Transport and Communication to learn about the ministry’s digital and data economy as part of his study trip to Finland.

Abang Johari met with Yari Partenen, State Secretary of the Ministry of Transport and Communication today.

The Chief Minister was given a briefing on the ministry’s scope of work with a particular focus on the digital and data economy.

Later, Abang Johari dropped by the Malaysian Embassy to meet with the ambassador, Puan Sri Blanche Olbery.

The Sarawak delegation left Helsinki for Tallinn, the capital of Estonia in the afternoon to continue the study tour.


The delegation included Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan, State Secretary Tan Sri Mohd Morshidi Abdul Ghani and Assistant Minister of Urban Planning, Land Administration and Environment Datu Len Talif.
