Bomba sends two pupils to school to sit for UPSR tomorrow

Bomba personnel transporting the two students whose longhouse was cut off by flood waters to their school dormitory by boat to sit for UPSR tomorrow.

BETONG: The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) transported two students from their longhouse to their school dormitory so that they will be able to sit for their UPSR examination tomorrow.

The two students who are staying at Aman Jugau Longhouse were unable to return to school after the connecting road between their school SK Abang Abdul Kadir and their longhouse waa inundated by flood waters.

According to Bomba’s report, the distance between the longhouse and the school is seven kilometres where a stretch of about 700 metre was flooded.

Bomba personnel helped to transport the students using boat to their school hostel so that they could make it for their UPSR examination which starts tomorrow.

The Bomba report said the department received a call at 9.24am from the Aman Jugau longhouse requesting assistance to transport the two students.

Bomba managed to accomplish their task by 11.27am.
