KUCHING: Foreign Affairs Minister Datuk Seri Anifah Aman paid a courtesy call on Deputy Chief Minister Tan Sri Dr James Jemut Masing at 3 pm today.

Masing who is also Infrastructure Development and Transportation Minister said among the issues discussed were the political scenarios in Sarawak and Sabah, especially the pending 14th general election where both BN leaders have confidence of winning.

Other topics of discussion included the non adherence of the Malaysia Agreement 1963 (MA63) by Putrajaya.

“Both states (Sabah and Sarawak) are concerned about MA63 non-adherence by the federal government.”

“We share the same concern while at the same time, we will remain true to the Malaysia Federation,” Masing told DayakDaily.
