KUCHING, March 8: Premier of Sarawak Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg has tested positive for Covid-19.
State Women, Childhood and Community Wellbeing Development Minister Dato Sri Fatimah Abdullah confirmed this during the Sarawak Women’s Day 2022 celebration held in Miri today.
“We received the news at 9pm last night that our Premier was not able to attend the event today because he has tested positive for Covid-19.
“Let us all pray that he will have a speedy recovery and be able to return to his daily routine as usual,” she said. — DayakDaily
